The 35-piece capsule merges Gap’s timeless heritage with Liang’s signature aesthetic to reimagine Gap’s most recognizable staples, including denim, outerwear, and fleece.

Denim anchors the collection with versatile silhouettes including the Pleated Denim Mini Skirt, Vegan Fur Crop Denim Jacket, and Low Rise ’90s Loose Carpenter Jeans. Signature fleece styles get a whimsical refresh with bow detailing and reworked logos on the Extra Heavyweight Logo Oversized Hoodie and Heavyweight Bow Oversized Hoodie. The outerwear lineup introduces new textures and reversible designs, such as the Vegan Leather Sherpa Jacket and Bow-Back Trench Coat.

Gap and Liang are also extending the collaboration to younger consumers through online-exclusive baby and toddler pieces, featuring mini versions of the women’s styles.

“Each collaboration has its own handwriting — its own story,” said Mark Breitbard, president and CEO of Gap brand.

“Sandy Liang has cultivated both an engaged community and an iconic design perspective, which has allowed her to reimagine our heritage pieces into something entirely new, yet familiar. It’s exactly the kind of creative partnership that keeps Gap at the forefront of culture.”

The collection launches with “Sandy’s Dream Closet”, an animated short film created with visual artist Annie Choi. The film draws from Liang’s childhood memories growing up above her family’s restaurant in New York’s Lower East Side, blending autobiography and imagination.

“Growing up, Gap was the pinnacle of fashion. It’s incredible that I get to co-create with such an iconic brand that I treasured so much as a child, yet is still so relevant today,” said Liang.

“‘Sandy’s Dream Closet’ illustrates how wearing Gap made me feel growing up as I imagined being an adult one day and who I could be. I wanted to take the pieces that meant something to me as a kid and reimagine them through my lens today — celebrating girlhood in all its forms, while honoring the iconic styles that make Gap so timeless.”
